Social Media Moderator Internship Position

• This role offers the intern a total immersion into a busy digital marketing business and the successful candidate will work closely with key members of our marketing team. 
• Candidates will learn about social media content strategies in the real world, digital communications, and marketing with our niche market and audience.
• The ideal intern will have the opportunity to earn college/academic credits during the internship and they will have the chance to learn from successful professionals in the field.
• Learn how to utilize different technologies, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, online editing tools, and AI (artificial intelligence) integrations for social media content creation

Key Duties:

• The social media moderator intern is responsible for executing our business’ social media strategy to generate organic traffic across key social media channels, including Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and website.
• Assist with the design and execution of social media content (captions) that speaks to the company’s target audience (5–6 posts, reels, and stories) on Meta pages and TikTok
• Assist on the creation and editing of images and short videos for reels, stories, and posts on Meta Merchant account inventory
• Photograph merchandise for all social media platforms. This is an important duty that must be completed in order to fulfill this internship.
• Assist with streamlining on social media accounts (e.g., Meta, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and X-Twitter)
• Ensuring brand consistency and tone of voice with graphics, promotions, and our online store (website).
• Monitor and respond to comments and DMs on social media chats, shares, and shared content (under supervision from our marketing agency’s director)
• Social media interns support the digital marketing team to develop and implement outreach and promotional strategic content to boost brand engagement and increase revenue.
• Create monthly emails to promote business brands on various social media outlets
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas for scalability
• Support marketing agency at live and online events for our business
• Assist on influencer campaign strategy 
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
• Help develop new strategies for increasing engagement

This role will be instrumental in increasing our social media organic content & presence and gaining visibility with our customers and potential customers.

This is an unpaid intern position. However, if you successfully demonstrate the professionalism and qualities we seek, you could start earning a competitive salary after the temporary/seasonal position has ended.
